RMANDOG rebuild

Reconfigured the storage for the RMANCAT database on rmandog.

Used expdp via Grid Control to export the RMAN schema to /home/oracle.

Installed the oracleasm driver for RHEL 2.6. Forgot to initialize the driver via:
/etc/init.d/oracleasm init
Did a reboot instead.

Used VM Workstation to drop all of the old drives and replace them with two (2) only 8Gb ones.

Set up the following partitions:

Partition Size (Gb) oracleasm drive
/dev/sdc1 2 ORCL:DATA1
/dev/sdc2 6 ORCL:RECO1
/dev/sdd1 2 ORCL:DATA2
/dev/sdd2 6 ORCL:RECO2

ALTER SYSTEM SET asm_diskgroups='' scope=spfile sid='*';
shutdown immediate
connect / as sysdba
startup
CREATE DISKGROUP data EXTERNAL REDUNDANCY DISK 'ORCL:DISK1','ORCL:DISK2';
CREATE DISKGROUP recovery EXTERNAL REDUNDANCY DISK 'ORCL:RECO1','ORCL:RECO2';

Used DBCA to delete and create the rmancat database with global name rmancat.botany.yaocm.id.au and unique name of rmandog.

Still have to import the RMAN schema.
